The best scene ever in Star Wars history - Bottle Modelling

I was on Star Wars: The Last Jedi for 9 months while at ILM. Like everyone, getting to work on Star Wars was a big milestone for me.

The most significant amount of time was spent on the Megadestroyer Hanger which was a massive collaborative effort between all departments to not just build it but also destroy it. I worked very closely with the Environment team to create many modular components for them to use and they knocked it out of the park.

An iconic scene I got to contribute to was the slicing of the star destroyers. I broke the destroyers up in to sections and made debris

One of my favourite tasks was getting to play a part in modernizing the ATST and redesigning the main body, putting my own stamp on to the classic. The rest was modelled by Darrell Abney.

I also modelled 2 Resistance fleet ships, did a detail pass to the resistance transports, modelled a CG hallway and contributed to the greatest asset in all of Star Wars, the milk bottle (yes its CG but the creature isnt)
